Will you accept Evolution too?

I dont know how widely circulated this story is but I've recently come across an msnbc article stating that the Theory of Evolution is "compatible with the Bible". It goes on to say things like the Anglican Church has embraced Evolution based on what one guy says and personally i found it quite dis-heartening to read. The thing that makes me most upset is how the oppinions of these few people are stated in a way as to reflect the oppinions of the entire Church (I guess thats how the system works anyway). I dont know about you but our so called "Reverends" and the Catholic equivalents dont ever seem to be shown as having a biblical viewpoint (at least not in the media). I find Leah's gmail quote as being quite helpful when reading articles like this "If God is with us , who can stand against us?" or something like that. Anyways, the point of this is to just highlight the article... signs of the times eh.

once again its at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26747166/

Interesting. Evolution could be called 'not non-compatible' with the bible in that it is part of the story of the history of creation i.e. it is a theory that came and will be revised before the end. But i acknowledge that that is an irrelevant thing to say. Is evolution theory part of God's plan or is it from the devil? Does devil have a capital 'd'? It was amusing to click on the link to the 5 predicted evolutions of homo sapiens for the next 4 million years into the future. The world can't possibly last another 4 million years can it?
