What is it that you guys want about God? Why do you want to be with him in Heaven? Are we meant to be motivated by some spiritual (as opposed to fleshy) desire? If so then what is that desire for? Is it one of those things you can't share with people or put into words?

Hey, just stumbled onto your blog. thought this was a really interesting question.
I think what people want from God, is to fill his gap that seems to be in each person, that most people fill with relationships or getting a better job to get more money to get more things...
So, I guess, in a way, God is another thing (or THE thing that should be) filling the gap...???
No idea if that made any sense... it's a bit late...
I had more to say... but i forgot now...
But yes, I often ponder this...
